I will agree to this point, I don’t think there has ever been a run of missed or bad calls that were so important or had the influence on the games as in 2010. Then again referees aren’t perfect and I’m surprised they can concentrate on the goings on with all those vuvuzela filling their ears.
I say bring FIFA into twenty first century and bring in video for disputed calls. It wont slow the game down at all despite what FI FA says or thinks

my friend it not the officiating fault it is the people because most go spend so much money to support the shit but they do not understand that soccer is suck every games the fi fa tells the referee whom suppose win or loose why the fi fa do not like to put the camera behind the Nert like hokey they refuse because like that they can not help a team whom they like to win if every one are smart like me I do not watch I do not spend my money to the shit and no one get rich with my money

It’s not rigged, is it!?!
September 8th, 2010 at 11:00 pm
Ya i definitely say yes to this as there are many wrong calls during the game which is causing disputes between the players.

No, it’s hard to rig a world wide event as you’d have to bribe every president form each country for their team to take a dive or what ever. This isn’t the NFL were games are basically scripted now.
The refs do not have total control like in other games, there’s been a few red cards and such, but they haven’t affected scores much if you’ve watched closely. Plus no new technology, This sport is a classic and should be played raw as is. Introducing technology WILL slow down the game, and like the NFL the game will be won by referee calls rather than pure sport skill. The ref has limited power now, give them technology and they will have Unlimited power and basically ruin the sport.
